Just finished the transaction, it was a private sale carried through escrow.com.
I just wanted to post here to encourage fellow .eu domain holders.
The domain in question is Series.eu sold for $13,539.00.

If you're quick then you should be able to get it in there for tomorrows updated listings.

On a personal note, I love to hear of strong .eu transactions. I feel there is a lot of unrealised potential there should the EU become even stronger in the future than what it is now. I fully expect .eu to be up there amongst some of the highest grossing domain extensions in the the next few years.

TBH i think .eu is not that bad, i have about 15 .eu domains and have had dozens of inquires in past two years and previously sold Incharge.eu for about 2000 euro, it was listed on DNJournal as well.

I do have screen shots of escrow, so i hope they would be sufficient proof for DNJ.

Yes it is considered a ccTLD, one of only a few not listed in the ISO 3166, just like .uk.

Yes it is considered a ccTLD, one of only a few not listed in the ISO 3166, just like .uk.

I think I'm talking out of a hole in my head on this one.

There seems to be some debate about this. According to EurID it is a TLD, according to some other sources it is a ccTLD. Mmmm, confused
