What is the etiquette on NamePros re: placing domains that one owns for sale in ones signature?

Is this considered NORMAL and common practice or frowned upon?

I only have a few names that I own and would like to sell and considering doing this only if its accepted practice.

Cheers

NO,
DO NOT PUT DOMAINS IN YOUR SIG.
IT IS COMPLETELY UNETHICAL!

Unless of course, you wanted someone to see them,
and offer to buy them...then it's ok!
LOL

It is fine, I think some other forums limit your ability to put links in your signature but here people often use them to advertise their domains for sale, and people get offers for their domains through their signatures. It's a trade-off, the more domains you have listed the less exposure each one gets, so I would recommend putting just a few of your best ones for maximum exposure.

it should be fine as long as your domains aren't adult domains etc. also remember that you probably shouldn't make the domains clickable links if they are parked.

What about linking to sedo partnership program and the like?

I think, it is OK as long as we want to be publish worldwide....

It's perfectly fine, a lot of people do it, you can always link to a sales thread in your signature too if you dont feel comfortable doing it ;)

i think it's ok, but I have never done it before, there's another sedo partner referral link which is forbidden to link to in sig since it's a referral link.

It's fine, just make note of:

- 4 lines only
- max of size 2 font
- no adult content (domains/sites)
- no linking to fellow domain forums
- no affiliate/referral links

Pretty much common sense. ;)
