Estibot question?

How much stock should one put in Estibot's "free appraisals"? I'm just curious. I've been slowly reading up on the domain name market, and am having a lot of fun with it. Any other "Whatever you do, don't..." kind of advice would be much appreciated.

zero zilch nothing, use past sales, and prices domains are selling for at auctions, as an indicator, estibot is a easy way out, just because you can type in a domain, and get a number does not make it valid.

past sales at sedo:

onlinevalut.com sold for $1600 esitbot says worth $80 .. total bs


funnyties.com sold for $2000 esitbot says $100

and so on... the market sets the price, not estibot.

Use estibot.com for a the statistics and all of the great tools they have there. Not for what the number it shoots out. Although if the name is appraised really high you can count on it actually being worth something. Check these links out for more info:
