domain Estibot just broke my heart on ISellX.com

I just ran these 2 thru Estibot. I wasn't expecting a million but Reg.? Will Someone Please give me an honest real person appraisal.

ISellX.com and IBuyx.com

I wouldnt bother with Estibot, it doesnt give correct appraisals.

You are better off putting the names on here to get a better idea of what the names are worth.

I thought I had two really sweet names.

Honestly starting in domaining based on automated tools like estibot is bad for your finances

To me, these names allude to selling ecstacy and would be useless (or stupid) over the internet. It would cost more to brand these names than they are worth.

I never thought of it as ecstacy the drug. I was leaning more towards the adult industry.
Maybe I should have went for" I sell marijuana.com." instead.
Anyways, I'm always grateful when someone points out little things that can put me away for 10 years.

Estibot is a pretty good tool, IMO. In fact, it gave him correct appraisals of his names. So, the problem, at least in this case, isn't with Estibot.

Honestly starting in domaining based on automated tools like estibot is bad for your finances

Just so you know...you need to own names before getting appraisals as per forum rules

You have to think of potential purposes of the domains.

What are you gonna do, make an ebay with only iBuy/IsellX? Buy/Sell is onyl part of the thing, most people look for AIO sites in that niche i.e. craigslist.

Who would want to buy it?

I think its worth negative what you paid for it.

When regging domains, think "Would people go to a search engine and type in this sort of thing?". And/or think whether it'd have reseller value (which I guess comes with experience).

However not many people would type in "I sell X" into a search engine - well, nobody would, to be honest - hence why its got not value.

I am NOW TAKING BIDS on how much I will have to pay for someone to buy these 2 Domain Names.
They are like new, parked for 2 months and have never been hit. I guarantee them to be worth every penny I have to pay you.

well for the first time i am thankful to estibot , its good that it broke your heart , when domainers first enter this industry they use such bots so appraise their domain ( most of them are crap ) and the bots give like XXXX - XXX for no reason and the domainers get high hope, estibot appraisal might have opened your eyes lol , now what you can do is learn more about what kind of domain are valuable , what are brandable , what domain can be worth registering for reselling purposes .

I would love to pick a few brains later about Bad Estibot and Bad Becisions. Is it okay to stay on this thread for a little while longer as long as its follow ups to what I've learned so far today?

I am so sorry about that. IsellX is one that was on the list of possible buys with IBuyX and UbuyX. I'm all screwed up here.
I acquired those two from GoDaddy on the 8-8-09. I can get a refund on these up to 5 days if I remember right.
I have another one UseeX.com that I bought in may or June. I meant to do the appraisal on that one the first time but I was to
embarrassed to tell you about after the first two duds
Don't suppose Seeing X is much better than Buying X ??

Sorry gilescoley. I wasn't trying to fool anyone. I need way to much advice to make anyone mad at me.
Hopefully I can explain my domain dilemma later on Newbies.
I am going to try and do a refund soon on the drug duds.
