Estibot conspiracy?

I have been following a name for several months. A few months ago Estibot appraised it under $1,000.00 and now it is appraised over $4,000.00. The traffic stats to the parked site have not changed and I do not know of any like names that sold that would affect the price so much. I know that most people on here do not think estibot is that good of an appraiser anyway but my question is can a domain owner or broker manipulate an estibot appraisal in some way so that the price gets inflated on Estibot?

Estibot is just a bot. In many most cases, its appraisal will not be a good indicator.

1000 to 4000 is not a dramatic change. Probably, someone could game Estibot. But why? If selling domains were just a matter of having good Estibot appraisals, we would all be rich.

Just a coincidence. Factors that can change quickly, are indirect, or are hard to measure are the ones most often used by such automated appraisal systems. There could be more estimated search results for related keywords indicating more potential traffic, or a million other things.
