As we are in a HUGE moment this evening on NP I am happy to announce that I have just acquired EstateAgent TV from the 'king of the drops' Polin.

The price was fair on both sides - but still enough to make me feel some pain!


For those who don't know 'EstateAgent' is the more common phrase in the UK for property/ Real Estate professionals




There does seem to be quite a lot of action these past few days.

if the uk end-user .tv market is strong then considering immobilienmakler.tv sold for 2500 euros your domain is a very good investment IMO.
personally I've had 2 .tv sales so far - all to german end-users, so can't speak for the Uk .tv market.

WOW, this Is a fantastic catch.

Estateagent.tv must be in massive demand by some of the top agents in my country.

I think you will score very big here Jimbo.

I would not be surprised to see this one selling shortly.

Jimbo, this is an excellent domain. There's got to be an estate agent out there that would love to get their hands on this one!

I'm not surprised that you felt some pain on the price but I'm sure it will payoff.

I have been meaning to comment on this stellar domain for a while now, but I have only been popping in here once in a while as I have ben really really enjoying my summer

Real Estate is Monstrous.
Only One Person sells Real Estate...A Real Estate Agent
I just looked up RealEstateAgent, and the numbers lobally for it are only 90,500 "exacts"
But Your EstateAgent - The numbers Globally are 368,000!


So, Estate Agent is clearly a much better term than RealEstateAgent (which is incredible in itself) for that one and only professional who sells real estate. I can only see one better term, that is Realtor.

I think this is an absolutely incredible valuable domain, and to tell you the truth if I owned it, I wouldn't let it go for any less than 5K...Even then I would probably feel bad at a mid $x,xxx sale considering the Marketing Budget for any Real Estate Agent.

Incredible Domain, and I wish you a $xx,xxx sale and/or a development plan that will take care of you for many years to come.

I'm jealous of your new HUGE domain!

Realtor = US
EstateAgent = UK

For those of you who want to know what it is in Dutch - search the forum.. :lol:

In fact its better because... you refer to the office as an EstateAgents. In the US its a realty office (I think) so the name Estate Agent is more universal within the business itself.

I'm pretty certain that it will take a whole lot more than 5K - though I won't put an estimate on it because its not an appraisal thread.

What is the commission on the average real estate transaction? Yes, the domain and the business are separate but I believe domains like this with renewals at $25/yr are better held for the long-term, potentially outsource the development, etc...
