Hey folks

I am planning a small e-commerce site selling a small reange of fishing equipment. I have looked at 1&1s basic eShop and its features seem to fit the bill, but how are 1&1 at this sort of thing? I know many have had problems with the domain name side, but will this be any differant?
If one and one are really not good, can you suggest another good ecommerce shop builder?

Cheers for any advice you can give

1&1 hosting?

I hate their control panel, i used it when doing a job for a friend, will never use it again.

Alot of people hate one and one.

Try http://hostgator.com It has Fantastico, so you can easily install scripts, including oScommerce.

Though the NPers here can definitely convince you not to use 1&1, I personally have never actually had problems with them. Or maybe that's because I have only purchased one thing from them.

However,

There are way more other considerable hosting deals that include OScommerce. You can find plenty at http://www.findmyhosting.com/

I have never personally used the 1and1 hosting/ecommerce side but I can definately say stay away from them because of my issues on the domain site.

As Hitch recomended, get some hosting at hostgator and install OSCommerce, it's a wonderful web script.

Thanks.
