EPS File Format?

Hi all.

Have a slight problem. I recently purchased a Vector image from istock, i downloaded and was about to use it, when i tryed to open it, it came up as a rasterized image, giving me no option to edit it, i actually needed to remove one element from the image for my design, but can't

Is there any way to convert EPS to PSD? Or any other option available?

you need adobe illustrator to open up .eps files

it's not a smooth process btw, when converting from vector (line art) to bitmap
