Site: Epic Mania

About: Epic Mania is the first major website devoted to the epic genre of movies (Gladiator, LotR, Star Wars, etc.). It is similar to a site like SuperHeroHype.com (which is for comic book movies). It is run by a completely custom built PHP/MySQL backend that manages everything from movie listings, cast/crew, images, trailers, articles, and news with a WYSIWYG editor for adding all content.
It has a good amount of content, but I have fallen behind in adding new movies and news.
Stats:
58 movies in database (many with thumbnails images) – including major upcoming releases
3400 cast/crew in database
120+ news items
85 movies identified for evaluation/addition
Forum: 24 members, 224 posts, 60 topics

40 backlinks in Google

Revenue: None—AdSense is on the page, but terms in this niche don't pay much of anything. The plan was always to sell text links and other advertising, I just never got around to it. I'm certain it could do fairly well
Reason for Selling: I just don't have any time. I really love this genre of movies, and would absolutely LOVE to keep running this site, I just don't have time to add movies and update the news the way it should be done. When I started this site I was out of work and had a ton of time to devote to it. Now I have a full-time job and other projects that take up most of my time.
I would like to sell to someone who is also interested in movies, especially epics, and has the time to give this site the love it deserves.
I will help the new owner learn to run everything and also show you the best way I have found the gather news (the methods I used when I had time to run the site).
Starting Price: $500 is the minimum bid
Is this an auction?: No. I do not guarantee that I will sell to the highest bidder, and reserve the right not to sell to anyone... but I AM accepting bids.

Other: I am also open to proposals for revenue sharing partnerships in which someone else would take over day to day operations of the site, and we would work out a revenue sharing deal. If that were the case I would still contribute content to the site, participate in/help moderate the forums, and continue to work on promotion and advertising sales. I just thought I would throw that out there as another option of something I am interested in.
