Entertainment Studios, an independent production company and distributor of first-run syndicated television content, will simultaneously launch six new hi-def networks initially on Verizon's FiOS later this year. The new networks will be international in perspective, offering viewers multimedia content which can be viewed on television, online and via mobile phones. The six networks include:

Cars.TV: will highlight collectors, designers, innovations and car enthusiasts. (www.Cars.tv )

There's so much happening in the .tv world at the moment, it's really exciting.

It's more proof that a good single word dot TV domain can have some real value. I think we're going to be seeing more and more of this.

Exactly, especially when the keywords are carefully chosen and fit the .tv extension perfectly.

TV shows about cars, food or pets have been very popular for decades all over the world, so it's not surprising that domains like cars.tv, recipe.tv or pets.tv have huge development potential.

With a solid business plan, these could become a highly successful websites, which would do wonders for .tv awareness too.

Everything redirects to es.tv or in the case of comedy.tv, the links work extremely slow.

These networks haven't been launched yet, they will be launched later this year.

So you should at least wait till they're launched before you start criticizing them...

I just meant that I didn't make any sense to rate the speed or content of a website that won't be launched before several months.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to these six new HD networks on .tv in the months to come. These are very exciting news. :tu:

But like the Bulldog said, some are slow and they all redirect to one and the same website.
Something like domain.tv/showvidsfromcategory.

However I love the domain names !

The reason for these issues is that the site is not ready yet, this news was just to say that the launch will take place later this year rather than to show off a completed site. Right now is not the time to criticise the site, at least give them a chance to complete their site.

I say that with all due respect, i'm not having a go as i imagine you didnt notice that these sites wont be ready for months.
