Enom won't let me sign up

I tried signing up with enom several times, but I keep getting a message like: "We are currently not accepting domain orders from this IP..." and so on. I'm in the 81.19x... IP range and I also tried from a 200.xx... IP (same ISP) but got the same message. My country (Romania) is in the country list in the signup scren, so it can't be that (I think). Could it be my crappy ISP?

What do you guys think? Any of you had this problem in the past and gotten over it? Please advise.

eNom, just like many other registrars, have blocked numerous IP ranges. If you cannot create a $29.95 account directly at eNom then that means you are blocked.

You would then need to use a proxy to login also.

GOT IT!!!!! I registered an 8.95 account at enom, but through acts837's website, http://www.namezoom.net/

Then I tried to login from the enom main page and it worked. It seems they only check IP's at signup.

Congrats!
But to be honest, don't keep your hopes up. They may track IPs and then disable your account. So don't do anything that could catch thier attention.

Neither did I. zoli is from Romania. It could have just been his ISPs IP block. Who knows but he can log in now! Thanks Vlad.

Happy to hear you found a solution. This got me wondering... is there a list of known Enom-blocked IPs?
