Hitfarm Banning Domainers From Looking At Pages?

Has anyone else noticed that they cannot see Hitfarm parked domains?

I keep running into Hitfarm parked domains that do not resolve. For example, CocktailRecipes,com .

As a test, I used the same ISP connection and two different computers and could see the CocktailRecipes,com sites, as well as other Hitfarm parked domains - but not on my main computer.

It makes me wonder if they are blocking IP's of domainers as a competitive advantage? Maybe they got my IP from a blog posting, or something?

I can't think of any computer configuration or setting that would prevent me from seeing the domain. It's definitely not the ISP, as explained above.

I don't know if I was singled out or not, or if there is a tech issue I can not think of that could cause all Hitfarm pages to not be able to be seen from a single computer - aside from a blocked IP.

gazzip, it times out in both IE and FireFox. Firefox response is :

The connection has timed out

The server at chickens.com is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

i can see both the urls my ip is on major traffic exchangers there is
why would they ban domainers if they're the ones who gonna buy their parked domains?

Try using a proxy first. If that works, then something wrong with your DNS configuration, probably.

Also see if any of your anti-virus/ad-blocking software might be blocking them.

I can see Chickens,com with a proxy server just fine.

I disabled the Firefox pop-up blocker and Norton's Antivirus and the domain still won't come up. IE won't show it either.

Mind you, this is only on domains that are parked with Hitfarm - no other parked domains do this, nor am I running into any other down pages on the Net or slowness issues.

It's not my ISP, b/c as I stated other computers will show the domain on this line. It is just this computer, which makes me think there is a possibility my IP was banned. Maybe I stepped on someones big toe.
