I've seen quite a few shirts around saying stuff like "We support two football teams. Scotland and anyone who's playing England."

collin samuel plays for dundee united and jason scotland recently left so i was supporting trinidad. Trinidad have 8 players who play in scotland in there team and since we are not there, we support them.

i actually have one of those t-shirts

in terms of why, i think it is the media (john motson and co.). they sometimes forget that the whole united kingdom watch the game and not just english people

umm i must of missed that cos the only thing that came close to a goal for T&T was the clearance off the line by terry...whic didnt even touch the goal line :td:

but england need to play well against sweden and get 1st place, and show the rest of the world that we can win it

If we beat Sweden by 3 or more goals, and T&T beat Paraguay without conceding a goal, then T&T and Sweden will have 4 points each, therefore, the runner-up will be decided on goals conceded. As we beat T&T by 2-0, we need to beat Sweden by 3 or more goals and T&T need to win against Paraguay for them to go through.
