Following on from Len's refreshing piece of news about Alamo.TV I just thought I would note that it appears the endusers are certainly acting 'contrary' to some of the domainers here on Namepros.
I notice in my own little world that today has been a funny day...
I sold one name to an enduser for low $xxxx - they are happy
I sold a geo name through SEDO to a recognised TV domainer for high $xxx - they are happy
I had already felt confident enough to buy a geo name off a recognised TV domainer last week - I am happy
YET - I'm still mulling over whether I want many of the premiums I once cherished and it appears our marketplace is still stagnant and people still have that collective fear.
There is no real 'point' to this thread, other than to suggest that I am not sure whether it is a good time to be an enduser - or a bad time to be a domainer?
Can anyone suggest which way the wind is blowing and what it will take for regular domainer to domainer sales to start again. They were once the lifeblood of Namepros, allowing people to buy a name, knowing that at the least, they had a very good chance of getting their money back when they sold it.
