You'll get a lot of different takes on this because "end user" isn't an official category anyone measures for all registered domains worldwide. Industry stats track how many domains are registered in total, or within a certain extension, but not who owns them in terms of investors vs. people actually using them.

But from what is pieced together using active‑site counts and aftermarket sales data, a common ballpark you'll hear is that most domains (maybe 70% to 80%) are in the hands of people or organizations using them for a live site, email, or app. The rest tend to sit in portfolios, get parked, or are held for resale.

Hi

the term typically applies to a person who acquires/buys/registers a domain and develops it into a viable website.

however, every domainer is the enduser for each name they own... at least until they sell the name or they drop it.
as you become the last user of the name.

still, in today's times,
there are way more "endusers" or deep pocket mofo's participating in drop catching, backordering and other domain auction activities than in the past.
it's one reason why you might see some outrageous bids for some names, as well as closing prices in general being much higher than before.

but that's the fault of domainer community for always wanting to tell outsiders wtf they're doing. :)

imo...

By end users i meant users who acquire domains to make a website for personal or company use. I asked this question because i think these type of users are the real measurement of the industry, investors should be in the middle between registrars and the end users, otherwise it’s unhealthy or weak industry.

Hi

as middlemen, we call ourselves resellers.
but the industry was thriving before selling to an enduser was the goal.

one could still profit by reselling to other domainers, which you can still do today

Imo…
