Hi all,
Been pondering this today, so I thought I'd ask those with far more experience than myself...
Taking together all domain sales in any given year, whether on database sites such as Sedo, Afternic, TDNam, on eBay or on forums... what percentage would you say sell to domainers and what to end-users ? Would 90/10 be a good guess ?
And how many end-users (eg. start-up companies looking for a web presence) are even AWARE of the secondary market or the WhoIs database to make enquiries? Is it not more likely they would go to a registrar's search engine and search for variations of their desired name until they find one that says 'Available' rather than 'Taken' ?
