EMI Shake Up

EMI 1 of the biggest record companies are currently shaking up their company. Today staff were told that 1 in 3 of them could be losing their jobs as EMI try to cut expenditure by £200 Million a year.

I suppose something had to be done in the music industry but it must be a tremendous blow for the staff at EMI.

Wow, getting rid of a third of their staff - that's quite a lot...

Yeah that is a massive shock for them. It doesn't matter how prepared you are for news like this it still comes as a shock. I know exactly what the staff are going through today. I went through the same thing almost 12 months ago to the day. It is certainly not pleasant.
