Microsoft opens up vista testing

As reported on the bbc news site microsoft is opening up the testing for vista:-

Windows users can now get their hands on a test version of Vista, Microsoft's new operating system.

The software giant is letting anyone download or order a beta, or trial, version of the program.

Those installing Vista will be encouraged to send in feedback about their experiences with the pre-release program.

The final version of Vista for home users is due to be released in January 2007.

its not worth it. the test goes invalid jule 1st next year and apparently you cant upgrade it to the real version when it comes out. wont support it by the looks of it.

just to let everyone know as of yesterday this is no longer available as the take up reached the microsoft imposed limit.

Anyone who already had a key will still be able to download it however.
