both extension is the extension for Spain.
NIC.es its the registrant and its the only emails domain allowed, as they dont allow to reg. the singular (email or mail).
Spanish market its growing.
More than 11million internet users and .com.es its becaming not only the spanish country extension but also as the generic for spanish speaking people or spanish language websites.

You are wrong.
.ES domains will be released tomorrow, but if you read the nic.es policy, you will realise that they dont allow to register for .es domains generic words like mail or email.
So, the only remaining its mails or emails.com.es because also mail.com.es or email.com.es its not allowed.

I can't see any value in those names at the present time. But in the future!? Who knows?!
