I'd appreciate any comments on mmers.com

Before you shout reg.fee consider these email addresses:
[email protected]
[email protected]

Best Regards,
Steven

In my opinion the potential to use the @ symbol to form a word for just a couple of terms does not add value to the domain. I consider it a 5 letter domain like any other. So unless you can sell it off to Michigan Municipal Employees Retirement System -- in my opinion there is no value.

Though creative ... Reg. fee+, IMHO. Locate a viable End user, in my view! :talk:
Best of Luck.

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

The reason I ask is I got an offer and wanted to get a feel for the โ€œmarket priceโ€--if there is such a thing.

I think I'll hold on to it even though the offer is relatively high. I have [email protected] printed on my business card and it makes a real impact. It's probably worth more to my business than I could sell it for.

Thanks again for all your help,
Steven

Hi Steven ... how much is the "relatively high" current offer, and from where is it originating (End user information, if it can be provided here)? :talk:
This may be beneficial to all of us, in arriving at competitive End user marketings and pricings, IMHO.
Thanks much.

The offer I got was for the equivalent of US$640. It's from an end user, a local tech company.

In my opinion most of the criteria used for wholesale aprasials have very little bearing on what an end user will pay in the real world.

Best Regards,
Steven

Excellent! :tu:
Why is this particular End user interested in this domain name specifically ... do they already have one similar (for instance, is there a meaning such as for the "Michigan Municipal Employees Retirement System" or something similar), are they expanding their offerings, anything that can give us all more insight as to why they'd spend a premium for this domain name versus than for any other domain name at Reg. fee.
You're right on the second point, the "default" here on a Wholesale forum is to give Wholesale appraisals ... unless specific End user information is provided, and a request for appraisal(s) for same, IMHO.
Congratulations, once again.

It's my understanding that he wants the [email protected] email address as a marketing gimmick.

I guess from a marketing point of view $640 doesn't buy you much. Maybe one small add in a low-circulation monthly. A typical small company might blow this amount 3-4 times a year on publications that turn out to be totally useless. It's my impression that the offer is what they can afford to blow.

Congratulations may be premature. I'm going to hang on to the domain, although I might do him a deal on that email address.

Best Regards,
Steven
