Email forwarding question

If I use google apps to forward mails to my google account from my personal domain email, does it show that '[email protected]' on behalf of '[email protected]' line in the header? I don't really want that. Is there anyway to disable it so that the person I'm writing to can't see that I'm using gmail?

I use regular Gmail and there is an option to hide the fact that you are using Gmail.

Go to Settings > Accounts

Choose whatever email you want and also specify that email as the reply-to address then make it the default.
