to my very surprise, Elvis.vg was available. If .vg is really is really going to be picked up as the Vegas domain, this should be a killer,....or maybe not?

I hadn't heard any suggestion re: VG being associated with Vegas in particular and in any case, such a domain would need branding because of the extension. I'm also fairly certain that Elvis is still a protected TM.

under normal circumstances i'd agree with you, but Elvis as a name shouldn't present difficulties, or most impersonators would run into substantial TM problems. i may have jumped the gun regging this one though.

I don't know that most impersonators actually call themselves Elvis tho, and has been said many times before: just because there are other TM's doesn't mean yours isn't one and you won't run into problems. You could skinny thru but as the site becomes more popular or valuable, the more likely you are to run into problems.
