No one will know these words in Germany, or at least no one will ever use them.

I had to look up "realty" on my own, I didn't know that such a word even exists.

So I'd say, these domains are useless.

I think you will find "Realty" is a trademarked word as well

Check around some other NP threads

They dont fit the extension IMO

Good luck

I have to disagree with one of the respondants. Realty is a fairly well known English word , especially in the real estate industry. Second, renovation is related to "renovieren", German for "to renovate". Also, don't underestimate English abilities of german peoples, they know a lot of English. In my opinion the second one has some potential.

That's not correct. Home renovation would be translated to "Haussanierung"; "renovieren" means to (re)decorate.

Even Germans with good English knowledge would be confused by this false friend, so it is indeed a very bad term for a German domain name.

BTW, "Haussanierung" might be a good domain name, but it's not good enough for the .biz tld. ;)

Splitting a hair within a hair...redecorate and renovate. Redecorate is a capsule within renovate. I live with germans and they tell me "decorieren" is the right common expression for redecorate and renovate is renovieren, in common usage, and that's what we are looking for.

I am living in Germany. Despite of the fact that germans are good at English, they are not going to use english words while surfing unless they really need to.

I would suggest that register only pure german words unless the words are really popular e.g. hello, trip etc.
