I know for a fact that the domain name effect.com was stolen from Network Solutions in the early 2000s. There were several attempts to recover it afterward, but in the end, the domain remained with the person who stole it.

As of today, Network Solutions has taken no further action. More than 15 or even 20 years have passed. However, I am absolutely certain that this domain was stolen.

So to anyone who is considering buying this domain, please be careful.
