Gettu.com

My plan is to develope this name into a search engine

When regging this very brandable name, My thoughts where, it is very easy to remember,it consist of all premium letters, and i see it as "get to' Dot Com, 5 Letter good prouncable & very brandable .coms are getting to be a very hard find.

any educated appraisels are very appreciated, possible other development opinions very appreciated aswell :)

GetTu.com

With this one, it could go either way, and really depends on marketing I guess.
At first glance, I misread this as Get You, instead of the intended Get To.
Imagine telling someone this over the phone; explaining Tu instead of To.
Plus, isn't there a possibility over TM with GetTo.com, and GetToo.com?
Or is that what you were looking for (typos)?

I'd valuate it at around $30

I'm a noobie so I am just learning. But I thought I'd let you know that when I saw it I thought of the word "ghetto" as in getto....

Another thought for you maybe when thinking about possibilities

that's what i was sorta thinking, people will read it as "get you" so far it is about a split as to those who are reading it as "Get To" and those who are reading it as "Get You"

there are no TM probs with this DN, It is not TMed, My intention was not a typo of any name, my intention was to reg a 5 letter, brandable, all premium letters domain name, Thanks for your valuation "UpSideDownKiwi" job well done, i am looking to see how people interpret this name, and thier like or dislike of the name, Rep givin for your opinion :)

gettu is short and catchy, with the right meaning for a search engine. However, any spelling variant that requires an explanatory comment to point out the correct spelling in order to get to the site will have trouble in the start-up stages. It's sort of like yahoo being spelled yahu...it's not intuitive.

So for outright value, I don't think it's much...but if it's a good service, it will catch on like others have, regardless of the name...then you're talking big bucks.

The beauty of this DN is that it doesn't matter how you read it. Whether it's "Get You" or "Get To" both can easily indicate a search engine. One creates the results FOR YOU the other is the result, that upon clicking - you GET TO.

The problem is, the domain by itself, with no development would be around the low $xx (max of $20) IMO, when you start developing you're looking at a crazy pile of cash. The only question that i have,...how do you plan on creating the "next best thing" and circumvent Google's dominant existence? I'm hoping you have something in mind, it's time for a revolution. :imho:

Thank You "IntelBank.com" Rep Givin :)

There are two investors and myself on this development, It is not going to be cheap to develope, but will be a nice SE if all goes as planned.
