I'm looking for a web designer/developer partner to develop a site about Ecosex, the subject and title of a new book. The author recently put up a blog, but the subject really calls out for is a fully fleshed out portal with product reviews and ratings, articles, shopping, blog, and whatever else you think makes sense.
What the author brings to the table:
• written content that's going to be continually updated and expanded.
• a book on Ecosex being published by Random House on April 1st.
• wrote a current advice guide on Nerve.com http://advice.nerve.com/2010/03/30/six-tips-for-a-greener-sex-life
• blogs on The Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/stefanie-iris-weiss
• in-person events and promotions with the most respected and stylish adult toy stores, both online and off (not sleazy ones, mind you).
• articles/coverage in very well known magazines and newspapers. example: http://ecosex.net/lean-green-sex-machine-eco-sex-in-the-new-york-post/
• a series of articles on well-known websites with high traffic
• radio interviews
• television interviews
• participation in very well known green events/shows including go green expo: green - environmentally - eco-friendly friendly products and services
Bottom line, the site's going to get a ton of exposure while generating sustained curiosity. There's clear commercial potential and the author is looking for someone to help make the most of it as a true partner. And by partner, we mean a split of revenues right down the middle. We know plenty of weasels look to exploit designers with an idea and equity promises, but in this case the author is bringing lots of content, eyeballs, and collaboration. Please respond if you're a very talented and reliable designer who recognizes the potential of the project. It's going to be fun and it's going to be lucrative if it's done right.
