domain economyth.com Appraisal please

it sounded like economy but not really. I brainstorm names about economy and managed to get this one. Then I realize that the .net and .org is gone for this name. and For economyth(s), the .com .net and .org are not available anymore. I am wondering what is the intention of registering these names since the site is not use for parking.

I need some guidance in this.

I check the owner of the other 5 TLDs and i found out that he is a professor from Salisbury at their business faculty. I read his biodata and he seemed to be pretty popular with this beacon network thing (No idea wat that is) and it also say that he is releasing a new book next year (2008) on economic subject. I am hoping that he will name the book economyth cozz then if it become the best seller, economyth might be included as a world in dictionary thus making it generic.

What do u think?

I actually quite like this domain name, I guess having an Economics Degree helps.

Could make a nice site expelling some of the myths about economics.

undeveloped it doesnt have much value to a reseller, but to an end user, maybe mid $xx+

If developed well, it could add a lot of value.

nice but ... 110 Google results ...? That's got to be some kind of record.

Okay, looking beyond that ... It's a great name. Obviously undervalued by the market, and - unfortunately for you - likely to remain that way.

Unless developed AND promoted, or you get lucky with (currently non-existant as far as we know) typo traffic from the (currently undeveloped) economyths.com site ...

BTW there is already a book out titled "Sexual Economyths" (one of the approximately 400 Google results for the plural "economyths") ... But I wouldn't rush out to reg "sexualeconomyth.com" ... (now I'm tempted to riff on the lisp vibe, and take it one step further to "homosexualeconomyth" but ... wtf.)

So ... straight up value appraisal ->

reseller: $0 + "a poke in the eye & a kick in the pants"

end-user: ? whatever ... maybe mid $xx / low $xxx

developed: who knows, catchy, brandable - could be big!
