domain Weightloss.clothing appraisal

Hi,

What do you think of Weightloss.clothing? I know that these new gtlds are probably going to die a slow death but this one sounded good to me and with the com/net/org being taken I could see it fetching more then reg fee.

What do you guys think?

Is there such a thing as weightloss clothing? I'm skeptical that clothing can help a person lose weight. But maybe someone is marketing a product based on that premise. If so, then sell to that company. If no such product exists, then you have no chance of a sale, in my view.

I agree with Image. Unless you will find a big niche of clothes that help/make lose weight I am afraid the word+the extension don't go very well together.

Actually if you google weightloss clothing you will find that there are many products that promote the premise that they will help you lose weight just by wearing those clothes.

Another big niche is also people trading clothing when they are losing weight. Those are the two reasons why I regged this domain in the first place

i think it would be a hard sell myself. There is a market for it but you need to do some digging, id try first to sell it to the guys that have weightlossclothing .com as it diverts to their companies page.

Very true.

One of the biggest mistakes domainers make -- and which I made a lot during my first year -- is registering domains just because they match patterns of other domains that are registered or developed.

Just because a lot of people build sites on $10 domains of a particular pattern does not mean that a similarly formatted domain is destined for greatness.

Domainers will do well if they learn to distinguish (1) common domain types in use by websites because they were cheap ... from (2) investment-grade domains.

Popularity online is not a sign of resale value.
