36,000 results on Google for "ecocity".. it's a term in usage.
Yes, I understand. But that only means there are 36K sites with the term ecocity on them in some manner. There are only 45 searches for the term on the overture network.
Ecocity.COM has only and Alexa rank over 2 million. I kno walexa meand little but when it is that high (or low, depending on how you look at it), it does mean something...low traffic.
So far, as I have suspected, ecocity is really not a word. Just a prefix and a word put together. ecocity is more of a name that would be used for a ficticious business bame, like ebay. Ebay means nothing. But it was branded to the point where the word "ebay" has become synonymous with online auctions.
Unless you find a business called Eco City or Ecocity taht has a big bankroll and understands the benefit of such a domain when it is developed properly and marketed properly, I suspect you will have a hard time selling that one for more than low $XX. But I could be wrong.
I agree with the above post that htis is one that may need to be developed and branded before it would even be considered by any non-ecocity business.
Too bad it is plural and too bad it is a .NET. these both are two major strikes against this specific domain which is hurting as it is IMHO. May even mean the difference between low $XX and $0
