I am interested in your appraisal / value of ebookkeeper.org (a complete developed website). I also own ebookkeeper.net and plan on selling that with the ebookkeeper.org site.

I am currently trying to sell the site so it would help me greatly to get some good feedback on value.

Here are some quick stats on the site.

Purpose: The site is a niche Accounting and Bookkeeping resource center. Everything from directories, articles, and free tools (ALL ORGINAL BY THE WAY). Employers, Job Seekers, Professional Accountants, and Small Businesses use the site.

1,200 - 1,400 visitors per month (17,000 per year)

$80 - $100 average revenue per month ($1,100 per year) This is with no advertising like on adsense.

$7 Cost per month for hosting ($85 per year)

Evaluating a niche site

I would be curious how you market a niche site like this for sale. Do you contact other similar sites to see if they are interested? Or just hope someone sees your ad who has an interest in the niche market....

Sites such as this are usually sold for 1-3 years revenue.

The domains alone aren't worth much. It's too long, not generic, no .com to go with the set, etc.

The price will also depend on how many original artices/tools/etc are included and what they cost. Resellable items (ebooks you bought with resale rights) tend to not make a big difference as anyone can really get them and sell them.

$4k for the site if revenue continues to remain the way it does.
