Im sure this has been brought up a few times but it amuses me everytime i see it . People charging "Shipping" on domains for transfer fees. Or if there is something that is being sent by Email they ad "Shipping" here are some examples......LOL
Rapper Artist 50CENT is one of the most searched artist on the web this year!
Here is the top 3 shortest domain for the best result in search engines.
I wanted to run a website about 50 CENT but I really do not know how to handle this kind of traffic!
Include domain hosting untill 03/05/04 -
E50CENT.COM
50CENTWEB.COM
E-50CENT.COM
50CENTWEB.NET
E-50CENT.NET
E50CENT.NET
$20 transfer fee per domain as a shipping fee.
Shipping and handling: US $120.00 (within United States)
Buyer pays for all shipping costs
The names are just awful to begin with ....
here is another example of something being delivered by email ..
The winning bidder will be charged a $3.00 shipping/handling fee. This $3.00 shipping/handling fee represents a reasonable estimate of my costs to make the product available and deliver it electronically. The fee includes a reasonable estimate of the actual labor and associated costs that are involved in delivering the product. This fee is in compliance with eBay Policies.
the buy it now was 99cents on this item (not a domain)
Now I understand that this is a easy way to not have to pay high final value fees but at the same time it just makes you look bad.
And sorry if it is a fellow NP member selling these domains. HAHAH
