I always forward those to [email protected]

I usually get one or two a week..

What kills me is similar emails proclaiming my bank account will be closed for banks I don't belong to and claiming i've won prizes for contests I've never entered.

I also get emails claiming my "home loan" has been approved with text that exactly matches that of emails from 5-6 other "people".. spam is without a doubt the biggest scourge of the internet.

Such scams get more and more professional; recently I got an e-mail with a web-form, instead of a link to some place like 206.158.33.6:18156/ebay where I had to enter my username/pass. More surprisingly, when you enter something in there, you get redirected to authentic eBay page! :o

yeah I get them a lot too, nearly got caught out once. I get the for paypal too which is even more worrying. General rule of thumb:
If you get such an email, just type the URL direct into your browser, e.g ebay.com and log in from there. You will be able to see in your acc. if there are any problems.

I got one the other week.

Amazing how realistic they are !!

I sent my to ebay and got an automated response and nobody followed it up. I guess they get too many.....

Simply rule: never click on a link or respond !
