i am thinking about forwarding my domains that get traffic, to ebay partner network links.

so by going to these domains, i get clicks by default, and the cookies are automatically installed. all of this, without the user having to click on anything.

if there are any legal/technical issues with this plan, i'd like you guys to share it with me.

Maybe you should read the eBay partner TOS. That is the best place to find the right answer. :)

it's something you were supposed to have agreed to when you join the partner network.

as for your original question, my guess would be that it's not accepted, but check the tos if you're seriously considering this.

You might want to read the last page or two of posts (and related links I posted) in this thread:

http://www.namepros.com/473343-anyone-tried-build-niche-store-bans-13.html

They don't specifically apply to your situation, but eBay is making major changes in their affiliate program - if what you're suggesting is legal now, very soon it may not be.

Now speaking of "read": ALWAYS read agreements when you sign up for a program!! Don't just blow them off as a "bunch of legal cr*p" - YOU are entering into an agreement with the merchant and YOU are legally bound to those terms. How can you blindly click "I agree" if you don't know what you're agreeing TO???!!!

(Sometimes I think that just for fun I should set up an affiliate program where the terms are that the affiliate has to pay ME $5 for every click through that doesn't result in a sale... Low quality traffic? Bring it on :D :D!! )

Usually the "worst" thing that happens if someone breaks the agreement is the merchant bans them from their program. Then these people go crying on forums that so and so merchant banned them for "no reason" :'( ...

READ :)!!!!! And if you don't understand something, shoot them an email and ask!

yeah, it's illegal. it's the first point in the agreement. you are suppose to get clicks through actual clicks (user having known what they were clicking for) and not through forwarding or other misleading techniques

but you can share it with facebook (social networking site) to gain more traffic leading to sales
Sites where you can share

Currently, you can share your eBay listings with friends on Facebook. If you share your listings with your friends on Facebook, they’ll be able to view your listings in your News Feed.

Once you select a website for sharing, we’ll direct all of your listings to your friends at the other site. Items in certain eBay categories might not shared. The other website might choose not to share all listings with its members.
