Most investors stopped at “interesting tweet” when Atom shared their 2025 top-selling root keywords.

Last week, I showed how to turn that data into a saved ExpiredDomains.net search using AI. This week, I go a step further and show how to use those same keywords to:
-Generate real, hand-registration ideas
- potentially underpriced inventory at GoDaddy Auctions
-Evaluate those names using multiple appraisal and research tools

If you missed last week’s setup video (extracting the keywords from the Atom image and building the saved search in ExpiredDomains.net), watch that here:

In this episode of Friday with AI, I cover:
00:00 – Welcome back: Friday with AI in 2026
01:05 – Recap: Atom’s 2025 top-selling root keywords
02:10 – Using Perplexity to generate domain ideas
03:45 – list max under 2k names
04:30 – Splitting main keyword vs. brandable keyword lists
05:15 – Exporting ideas into a .txt file for bulk search
06:00 – Using GoDaddy’s Bulk Domain Search
07:10 – Reviewing available hand regs vs taken names
08:15 – Looking at GoDaddy Auctions for underpriced keyword names
09:00 – Example: AuraWealth.com – research process and decision-making
11:00 – Running a Research Snapshot and checking TLD usage
12:30 – Evaluating competition and potential end users
13:30 – Using Atom’s appraisal to cross-check value and keyword strength
15:00 – Browsing other available premium names and thinking in terms of margin
17:00 – How to think about “underpriced” vs “just cheap”
18:30 – How to adapt this AI workflow to your own keyword lists

The goal is to move from “AI made a list of cool names” to a practical, filtered, value-focused process that helps you decide:
Which names might be worth a hand reg
Which auction names might be attractively priced
Which “premium” names might still have room for a 5-figure resale

Below is the exact Perplexity prompt I used:

Prompt: Domain Name Hand-Registration Strategy (2-Word Max, Data-Driven)
I want to generate a high-probability list of hand-registrable domain names using publicly observable aftermarket behavior, not guesswork.
Constraints:
Maximum 2 words total
Focus on .com
Use only these root words (no synonyms unless explicitly allowed):
ai pay home luxury true hey tech coin one bot med brand pro nest box work labs fund wealth vibe health aura grid
No random or semantically weak pairings (e.g. “LuxurySnail” is invalid)
Methodology:
Determine whether each root word performs best as a prefix or suffix based on public sales behavior (NameBio trends, Atom naming conventions, market norms).
Category / institutional words (ai, pay, fund, health, labs, tech, bot, wealth, etc.) should default to suffix
Modifier / attention words (luxury, true, hey) should default to prefix
Pair each root only with commercially logical companion words that:
Commonly appear in real company names
Signal buyer intent (finance, SaaS, health, real estate, consumer, etc.)
Match the root semantically (e.g. luxury → hotel, homes, travel; pay → wallet, card, bill)
Generate only meaningful, natural-sounding combinations:
No filler words
No forced phonetics
No more than two words total
Deduplicate and rank results using simple heuristics:
Shorter length preferred
Fewer repeated letters
Better consonant-vowel flow
Outputs:
A plain-text list of all viable domain names (domain only, one per line)
A second list optimized for brandability (shorter, smoother, startup-friendly)
Stop expanding when semantic quality breaks down (do NOT pad to hit an arbitrary number)
Goal:
Create a realistic universe of high-signal hand-registration candidates that mirrors how buyers actually name companies — optimizing for probability of sale, not theoretical creativity.
