I have been using DRT for awhile and have had issues most of the time. I still have never received a single response from the creators of DRT in regards to any issue, which is very frustrating.

Anyway, if someone can help me I would appreciate it.

1.) When I import a list the filter does not always work. For instance if I just check .COM it won't find any domains, but if I check "All known TLD's" it will find the .COM domains, as well as all the other extensions.

2.) When I do a bulk scan it only pulls up the Whois Emails on about 10% of the domains on the list.

3.) When I use the "My Portfolio" section it will work for about a month, then eventually when I try to save or open the list I always get this error "Unexpected Error when attempting to load a domain file. Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow." Also, when this happens and I try to enter the names and save the list again it will not save the file. Normally I can uninstall/install to fix this issue, but this time even that won't work.

Any help on the above issues is appreciated.

Brad

Hi Brad,

I have had the same issues as you have. No replies to my support tickets as well. No Affiliate payments, the .org whois hasn't worked for months etc..

I'm not sure what's going on with Luc. I have sent him a PM, email and submitted support tickets over time and never heard anything from any. :'(

That`s not good, at least he could inform us if he stopped working on it.

Does anyone know him privately, a phone number......I don`t know, just to know what`s going on.

Thanks for letting me know I am not the only one in this situation. I figured when you pay almost $200 for a product you would get some level of support.

In DRT under news on 7-28-2008 it says "A big update is in the works...Expected Release 8/08/08". So that means someone at DRT has been active recently.

It would be nice to get a response instead of just getting blown off by them.

I got so many issues that I stopped listing them.

DRT is a great tool but I think 1 hour a week dedicated to customer support, maybe updating the FAQ rather than answering to individual emails would be great.

Curious, he choosed the same day when the Olympic games start :)

I used to get decent customer support from him, maybe a year or so ago, now it's abysmal. I think he's oversubscribed himself personally.

Regardless, it's a great tool.

well, another problem I have is that the the dictionary that's provided by default on DRT is not good and complete enough.

is there any better dictionary file out there?

I have found an issue with the "sorting filter" as well but it's not worth reporting it.

I'm not 100% sure what's up with the support issues, but it needs to improve.

IMO, and this is pure speculation, most of his effort is being dedicated to premiumdrops.com, which replicates some of the features of DRT but for which he can charge recurring fees each month.
