Hello,
what you think about:

drop-downmenu.com

Although dashed but in dictionary style so it gives in Google:
672,000 for "drop-down menu" and over 2834 overtures.

Checked up for TM (as far as I know it is not a TM issue).

Greetings, Hookah

It would be a tough sale. I would suggest a company like : http://software.xfx.net

They offer a superb drop down menu(esq) type system. They could be interested. It would have to be a software company tho, or development site.

Maybe $50

Right end user, ofc.

I must ask as foreigner: 'tough sale' you mean: troubles or difficult, right?

Well, I have checked up US patent and trademarks sites and did not find and reserved rights for this name. Hmmm, if I am wrong let me know.

$33.75 - $60+ if you can market this properly to the above potential "lead" or like-minded entity. The hyphen, length will keep you humble. $0.00 - Reg. fee+ at the wholesale level ... for the same reasoning, IMHO.
Good Luck.

Well, I tried to use comp well-known term as an etiquette for some kind of soft business and I used regular, dictionary expression and quite popular. Your proposition does make any difference regarding Google raw output. Maybe it is significantly different in its promotional aspect. I am not experienced enough to estimate in that way but see a difference in meaning of course.
I'll see if the DN I posses is a lucky hit :)

ok

what would it be used for?
a site selling drop down menus or gving away drop down menus
there is not much of a need for this domain

although i dont usually devalue hyphens
unless there is 2 or more hyphens
the hyphen KILLS this domain
there is no need for the hyphen
its like saying drop<pause>downmenu
where downmenu is one word

the results on google will be alot since there will be forums and such with things like how do i make a drop down menu
or a drop down menu will do good for this site

you will have a hell of a time selling this to an end user
in my opinion nonone would want it

Can be used for any webdesiger or edeveloper site. This expression is commonly used and well-known. Of course a need is much smaller than for 'computer' or 'software' but seems to be a 'just under the top' term.

So now I wonder. I understand to devaluate hyphen put artificially. But in this case it is a dictionary hyphen, so it builds this expression naturally (Google gives the same good output for hyphenated and non-hyphenated). I know much worse examples of dashed names but this one could not be recognized as artificially hyphenated.

There are many forums strictly connected to this topic. Webdesigners forums, softdevelopers forums. I found a hundreds that discuss some aspects of drop-down menu.
One of the first found is:
