I would appreciate some feedback on this domain. I recently put it up for sale and have recieved several offers, all of which I consider low. Thoughts if Im in the right neighborhood would be really nice.

Thanks,
Justin

ps - lowest offer thus far was 5k

Hello Justin and welcome to Namepros.com forums!

DreamDesign.com is a very good domain name. Highly brandable! Many potential end-customers! High development potential! Very memorable and easy to remember! Excellent content description! 2 words/11chars and .com! Targetted to a broad range of designing industries!
5k is a very good offer imho. I would say low to mid X,XXX euros undeveloped to the right buyer but since you received 5k offer already shows that there is big interest for your domain. So If I was the owner I would price it up to mid to high X,XXX euros and catch the right deal! Certainly its value is lot higher if you develop content for it!

The design niche is full of random 2-worders but this isn't random at all. In fact, it's among the best for the niche I've seen. Anything under early $x,xxx is an insult. Mid $x,xxx looks possible.

I would also like to mention that its google positioning its fantastic. According to Sedo its P2 - however if you use the keywords "dream" and "design" you will see it on pg1. It also recieves some natural traffic - about 500 hits a month. (guestimation as its only been monitized for about a week)

It was posted on Sedo about a week ago, thus far 3 offers. Again 5k USD was the highest, the other 2 offeres when in the several hundred dollars area.

How much did you pay for it? If you receive a $5k offer, you should take it.

The domain name was acquired for 1800. It originally sold on TDNAM as an expired domain for $5,000 but was reclaimed by the owner in redemption. It would have fetched 5,000+ on live auction. I recieved the 5k offer within 24 hours on Sedo. Based on what Ive seen I expected the domain to fetch (8-9) - however with the interest and amount of bids within the first week I have been anticipating more (10-12). Im actually suprised by the responces to this post.

I will respond to the 5k with a counter, the only question is how much?

I'm surprised too, from what I've seen if it had dropped at snapnames it would have been probably around $20,000 up to one of the big resellers IMO - I know I can't say this is a fact but that's what I think all the same ;)

Great name - wait for an enduser to sell to not a reseller IMO, names like that don't come around too often !

(there again it depends of course on how much you need the money right now)

Good luck

Gazzip -

Thanks for the reply, I thought for a few minutes I might have completed misvalued this domain name. I didnt want to be one of those domainers who has this outlandish idea of what there domain name should fetch. I think I will hold for the right offer, and your post re-affirms for me that this domain should fetch in the low $XX,XXX neighborhood. And no, I am in no immediate need of cash, just hoped for a quick turn around. I appreciate the post!

Hey - I could be very wrong but that is still my opinion all the same - I'm thinking for the home builders - magazine area.

I do have a habit of scaring potential buyers away !!

Best of Luck
