Just a few words of warning, Evilhaider. DRAMS encrypts their source code. Not only does this put a small hit on performance, but if you want to alter the look of the system, you have to modify some PHP files in a templates directory - and some important parts of the system can't even have their appearance changed!? The parts that can be changed are tedious to do so because the HTML coding is not good at all and there is no common code (if you want to change the appearance of the user signup form, you will have to modify at least 3 different files - for different cases). Also, sometimes (about once every 4 days at various times) the domain lookup (registration search) will freeze. By freeze, I mean it will look as if it is loading a new page, but never do it and never give an error message. It will simply stay on the page, and you can't click to another link on the page to stop it. When this happened on my test site, I checked the DRAMS demo site - and the same thing happened. However, I could get a response by using eNom's sample API, so I knew it wasn't eNom's fault. My question about this issue on the DRAMS support site has gone unanswered. Also, one big downer is there is no cart to store domains - your users will have to buy domains one at a time (or multiple extensions of the same term at best). Finally, there is no encryption of your eNom username and password. I don't understand this at all - if they are going to secure their source code (and source code borrowed from eNom and from others) like the Great Wall of China, why would they leave one of the most important pieces of data hanging out there?
That being said, if any of those issues bother you as much as they bother me, you should do a little more research. $60 is a decent price for the amount of work that went into it, but I purchased it and was so turned off by the experience that I might just use the Reseller signup page or dump it completely. Just FYI, there has been some mention of a new product - possibly a new version of DRAMS in Beta. Hopefully this will address some of the notes I've made above.
