Have any of you heard of spiralfrog? If you have what are your thoughts about the idea, do you think it will work?
For those who dont know what it is its basicly a new idea to allow people to download music for free and legally. The only catchs being that the songs will be supported by a short advertisment to pay for the downloaded song and once the music has been downloaded you will be able to play downloaded the tracks on 1 computer and 2 devices.
The site is meant to be ready by next month in the USA (europe - early next year)
The idea is that user can get their music for free instead of using meahods such as p2p and the record lables get their share of the money too.
What are peoples thoughts about this, i think its a great idea and its a step in the right direction for record lables in understanding how people want to get their music.
