What type of music do you guys listen to?
Do you listen to any Non-Mainsteam bands?
Any Suggestion for songs to download?
Personally.. I listen to alot of music... anything that hasn't been over played throughout the years, and some that has. I and you'll find it all on my winamp Playlist and cd collection, except this newage rap thats invaded the airwaves in the last 10 years. I hate nothing more then having to listen to Angry Black men yelling at me. The only rap i'll listen to is Breakdancing Music (some people call these Break Beats) and old school rap, like the Beastie Boys. btw, my favourite genres are Punk Rock, Rock, and Ska/Emo.
My favourite band that isn't mainstream is a local band. Local being the Halifax Regional Municipality. The band is called The GCO and you can find some of their music at http://www.mp3.com/gco/ I've been listening to these guys for atleast 3 years. They used to be a Surf band, now more of a Ska/Emo band.

Stutter Rap - Morris Minor & the Majors (Parody of No Sleep Till Brooklyn by the Beastie Boys. this is actually such a good song outside of the Parodyness of it that when it was originally released in the 80's it made it to the Top10 in the UK)
Playmate of the Year - Zebrahead (Punk/Ska)
Get Over It - Ok Go (Punk/Ska) (These guys have successfully incorporated an Organ into Punk/Ska music... i love it)
Anything (Not a Song Title, literally, anything) - System of a Down (by far my favourite band ever, although their music sorta all sounds the same, i love it all. I have all their cd's) (Rock)
I have alot of other suggestions if people actually find my selection interesting... but this is all for now...
