thanks for that

What time would that make it for me in Sydney Australia?

Cheers

Thanks for sharing that with us William. Will be of use for some people here but personally, I'm not gonna bother. Only 50 names per hour names makes it a lot competition to get those names. I remember when they gave away free 500 names during the hour a few months ago & their site took like 10mins to load to get your free coupon!

The last Dotster promotional offer I received was to "register one domain and get one registration free". I used the promo code and registered two names on the first day of the promotion. The code did not work and I was charged full price for both names. What followed was e-mails back and forth between me and customer service. First, they needed to consult a supervisor. Then, they asked if I used all caps on the promo (which I did and that was the correct way). Then they claimed, it was past the deadline for the promo (as I said, I did this the FIRST DAY of the promo). It was never resolved and not worth the trouble...and now the bulk of my business is going elsewhere. I don't have time for nonsense.

It said that I was a winner and should be getting my code within two hours.

This was over two hours ago. Dunno, might just be taking longer.

I usually ignore these things but this time I was online and remembered it so I went over there. Click. Sorry. Left the browser up, came back on the hour.

Click. Sorry. Backbutton.

Click. Congradulations.

Just like drop hunting. Seemed like they opened it up several minutes after the hour. The pages loaded quickly. Spreading it over the day was a good idea.

So if I sell the domain for $$$ what is my ROI?

Well that's a big fat **** scam. I still didn't get my email 10 hours later after winning. Not happy. Dotster can bite me. >:(

It's probably not a scam, they are just slow as molasses on a winter day to get them sent out. If I don't get mine by tomorrow, I'll email them.

Perhaps anyone that didn't receive it should do the same.
