Dotster help

Hey, my domain needs to be renewed, but I want to get my auth code so I can use with a diffrent register (namecheap) but dotster wont give me my auth code it gives error:

There was an error processing your request: 750 No Registry Response

I also tryed renewing with them and it gives me an error.

Please help.

nop the domain is 009.org doesnt expire till end of feb, iv been trying for ages though

oh and hey, when I try to renew the domain with them I get this:

Just a tip Bulldog, you can register for an account at netcheap.com (a dotster reseller) and push the name over from your Dotster account. The renewal rate is much cheaper.

Hey, thanks for the tip RJ, but i try their signed up for an account but the domain is a .org so it still needs the auth code thingy well so i think, can i just type my netcheap name in the dotster transfer thing?

Yes, you can just do a ownership push like you would between two Dotster accounts. No auth code requried.

just pushed it over to my netcheap account, worked fine... but then when i tryed to renew it i get the error still:

That's strange! Did you check with PIR.org to make sure the domain is actually with Dotster?

it says their it exp 05?? it expires in 04 strange. anyway whats that with them prohibited thing :s

sorry its just realy getting iritatiing me, the dotster cpanel is sort of weird for a newbie and the customer support is kinda bad aswell

Hmm, that is strange. Dotster support is known to be pretty terrible. You can try PM'ng NamePros member 'netcheap', owner of NetCheap.com. He might be able to give a better answer to what is going on.

so when does it expires, in 04 or 05? looks like it's been renewed somehow..

Well, I am sure it expires 04, on some whois it says 04 other 05... lets hope it has renewed and just hasnt mailed me

Got the PM. Gave member a direct email to a dotster contact.

I contacted dotster customer support but they just sent a email on how to renew and get the auth code, well anyway I have contacted them again...every time I try and renew it costs me money (just checked my bank statement) so I hope they can do something
