That's what I thought, but I've seen some domains passed 6 days already and still not release.

6 days after update to pending delete is the max timespace to drop
from update to pending expire usual time is 75 days
I assume that you have on watch list some good domains and therefor probably some are available at redemption period from current registrar as prerelease
