It's already on sale at godaddy for 22 something. You cannot get lower than that as far as I can see.

No coupon needed - .tv is on sale at Godaddy for $22.99 right now (I could not get any lower)

That will lure you to register at that cost but check the renewal fees.

Maybe this will be more productive:

If anyone knows both the reg fee and the renewal fee for the dot.tv at their registrar, I'd appreciate them posting it. Prefer both fees for Godaddy and Namecheap to start, but would like to see others also. Then I will check the 'registrar reviews' area here at NP to see what members say about that registrar.
So far, this is what I've found:
Godaddy:
reg fee: $22.99 (on sale right now)
renewal fee: 39.99
Is that right?

Namecheap:
reg fee: $25.00
renewal fee: same? If this is true, then so far Namecheap is by far the better price - 2 years = $50, whereas 2 years at Godaddy = $62.98.

If this is incorrect please let me know.
Welcome to post the 2 prices for any registrar you use for dot.tv, the reg fee and the renewal fee, and any coupons.
Thanks for your help.

was nice when godaddy had .tv on for 9.99, i reg'd a few for multiple years at 9.99 per year at renewal ! I believe the renewal was like $45-49 if you didn't reg for multi years at 9.99 , (5 year reg @ 9.99 = 1 normal 49$ reg LOL)

www.WebDomains.tv has names for 27.95 purchase / renewal plus free social network tools godaddy doesn't have, plus they list you on their guide site for one year free!

If you have over 40 domains with Namecheap (can be any ext.) You can get a discount on renewals if you email them and ask for it. I don't specifically know what the discount is but every little helps.

You can always transfer out to another registrar that is cheaper when it's time to renew.

That's what I was thinking; start with it at Godaddy with that sale price, then just before a year transfer it over to NC... However, since the savings is only a couple $ might as well just start at NC rather than go through that hassle over a couple clams.

yes but with the codes at godaddy it might be more than a few clams to save now and transfer later-

You can even save more with NeedName.com $23.95 registration/renewal. By the reseller account (http://reseller.king.net) and you will be able to register/renew/transfer .TV for only $22.95.

Hope this help you save some $ for your christmas.

Cheers,
Em
