Not sure how, but PokerRoom.Online and PokerRooms.Online slipped through preregistrations and they're not even premium (amazingly), so I nabbed 'em!

Given that poker rooms are originally an "offline" concept and because most poker sites are essentially "rooms" and they call themselves that, I think I made out with a couple of nice ones.

What .Online domains did you get?

Unless you score America.Online, I feel like investing in .online would be equivalent to investing seriously in .website :D

e.g: be careful not to get caught up in the hype

Being that you just joined last month, I understand your confusion. Apparently the registry agrees with me as well.

Apparently SEDO agrees with ME and gave PokerRoom.Online TOP DOMAIN LISTING status!

How you like those apples! :-D

Proof that the registries don't give every high value keyword premium pricing...Thank you Sedo! :)

The .ONLINE gTLD makes some sense to me, so quickly regged another bunch for the chinese, looking at what's been going on with the .TOP gTLD:

292
.online (com sold for $160,000 in 2015)
8008.online (com sold for $117,778 in 2012)
106.online (com sold for $107,000 in 2014)
249.online (com sold for $92,000 in 2008)
383.online (com sold for $71,777 in 2014)
401.online (com sold for $65,100 in 2009)
907.online (com sold for $54,000 in 2014)
472.online (com sold for $43,700 in 2014)
363.online (com sold for $41,000 in 2010)
244.online (com sold for $40,000 in 2008)

In the worst case scenario, even if 1 sells for $100, I am breakeven. :)

All these are generic terms IMO.

They could get you on the last 3, because when it comes to trademarks they look at what's to the left AND the right of the dot. But if they don't have trademarks on their names with "online" in it, then you might be ok IMO

I must have checked some 1000+ terms for dot ONLINE. Out of these, only a handful are available to reg at normal prices, most are available only for $2,000 - $12,500 fees per year. What a shame and what a farce to label even the slightly good keywords as "Premium":

I'd like to add that if you have hundreds of nGTLDs and none of your high search vol keywords are non-premium priced, you're doing SOMETHING wrong! Seriously...back to the drawing board.

Never said anything about my domains nor their pricing, just pointed out I'm not a blind hater. And that your domains are no way near premium. You can moan or go to attack all you want, you would be very lucky to get a buyer to consider those as premium names.

Because .Online is not an IDN (as the site suggests), I smell an Sedo site error with the Top Domain Listing statuses...let's see if my domains will still have Top Domain Listing status tomorrow after their traffic slows down.

I think you're proving my point without you even realizing it. They also have IDN next to your name:

"IDN Domains are "Internationalized Domains Names", they make the use of special non-English characters possible (i.e. Umlauts like "ä", "ö" und "ü", other European Characters like "á", "é", "í"). These domains are subject to many temporary technical restrictions, for example users need an IDN compatible browser to visit them."

So is your name an IDN?

Slowness would be posting a screenshot of it, missing it and getting excited to the point of you making 3 posts in a row about it. I made my post after reading the first page, then read your follow up after I made mine.

Ha, ha. Sure, 3 hours goes by and you're quiet. Then when I admit that it seems like an error you're quick to jump on it, as if you didn't see my post. You've got me there buddy :-/

I just explained it in my last post. I read the first page, quoted and hit reply, then read the second page and your follow up post. I was actually gone for 2 hours, about 3:30 - 5:30, it was push day, working out, then food. Not a big deal, when people are first starting out, they don't make the best buys. Back to showcasing great .online purchases.

With over 5,000 posts, I doubt that you did much other than be on this forum, seriously. Highly doubt that you just happened to post a few minutes after I did without having saw that I already admitted it's possibly an error, but if you say so man brother :-/

You don't get much apparently, like math. 2.5 posts a day doesn't really take up much of my day for somebody who does this for a living.

I regged these:

- Samui .online
- Muaythai .online
- Taekwondo .online
- Texasholdempoker .online

I live in Samui, have done a lot of taekwondo and muay thai, but don't even know what Texas holdem poker actually means. ;)
