I didn't see a thread about this awesome TLD, so I start one. ;)

3813 domains registered so far. Not that much...there will also be a ".career"-TLD soon.

So, your thoughts about .careers?

I am trying it with big.careers! ;)

Some gTLD's will work but this one is a NO!.

Many registrations are probably just brand protection.

This is like a lamer .jobs, which already exists and has for many years.

Oh hell, for such a low paying job that offers minimal chance for advancement, I doubt there is much demand for this domain. Seems like all the openings in the "hater industry" get filled by walk-in jobseekers as soon as they come available anyway as no special training or education is required for doing it.

Haters gotta hate, hate, hate, hate.... shake it off, shake it off... :xf.wink:

But seriously, I personally don't see much of a need or value in most of the new extensions that have or are due to come on line including dot careers. I have owned quite a few job/career relevant dn's for a lot of years -- including a few dot job dn's for a while. In the last 5-10 years, I think I have only come across 2 or 3 dot job domains in the wild and maybe about a dozen or so dot job domains promoted in PR pieces or news stories.

It depends... there are good and bad new gTLDs.
For me it is more important the quality than the quantity of my new gTLD portfoglio. :)
