I can see a number of these getting picked up - there a few others I'm surprised they accepted the high reserve and can't see selling because of it. What do you think?

Yes, it was good while it lasted, but the hype is over. Establishing a brand, and retail as stated above is best, laws donโ€™t allow for much else. The growing business will be like any other commodity where the middle man makes the money, not essentially the producer.

Anyone know what happened with some of the TBR domains that didn't go through?

Like IAG.CA and some others?

A bit late (what a day) but the To Be Released (TBR) .CA Results & Leftovers for October 2 are online:

This weekโ€™s .CA TBR list numbers did increase slightly, but it was the massive amount of 3-letter options that really pushed this weekโ€™s TBR into the black. Because of the LLL influence, we jumped to 106 selections, but it was a bit strange at the top with the top 10 picks featuring...

Come and Get 'Em!

No playing games next week, as PSN.ca is on the docket.

Seems that Bare Metal acquired a lot of the "LLL's"

Personally, I went for NHE.ca, PHE.ca and IAG.ca, and lost out on the first two, while the last one never even dropped - those were the only 3 with any real potential.

I could have got some more (I really should have put a bid on KHE.ca), as they went very late in some cases, but I'm happy with the one domain I got.

I was pretty happy to get Coda.ca
It's not just a Led Zep album.

That's a good one, and I saw it, but I didn't know exactly where to put it, as it's pretty esoteric word - and someone probably called, or I had to do something else, and I lost track.

I also forgot to add in Ivanka, as I Googled to make sure it was the correct spelling, then naturally read a story on Trump's latest blowup.. then moved onto the next .CA domain... :xf.sick:

It was a rough week and I literally had no time for the TBR, not to mention the CIRA decided to change their website tracking on Monday and lock me out.

Despite that fact im living here, I dont like .ca domains, cant sell any of my owned .ca domains so Ieting them to expire, lost about $600 on registrations.
Will be nice to see at least any 5 figure sale reports here if they are exit, to see how things is going on now with .ca domains.

List them here before they expire, you might get some offers.

Agreed list them here, and put a link, and maybe you can recover some funds instead of letting them delete. It is a slow go, for sure, you really have to deal in ultra premium if you want to accelerate such offers.

I've said this before, but you need to treat .CA like the top 10% of the .COM market, and even then it can be a tough slog.

Thank you for the support in the CIRA elections, unfortunately I didn't get in this year... Next year, I'll try to start working things a little bit earlier.

Too bad, but thanks for giving it a shot.

Wow, looks like a dead zone here, and this week has been so zany for me that I haven't had a lot of time for the site or the TBR.

Expect a TBR report, but it certainly won't be my best (you can laugh at the ones I missed all week), especially with the crapload of plurals, alt-spellings, and misspellings that popped up this week.

Who can tell me what a Trogon is? A Grackle? And Laquer or Lacquer? It even gets me mixed up sometimes.

The To Be Released (TBR) Weekly .CA Picks for October 9 are online:

The .CA numbers have increased slightly, but due to no mass exodus of LLLs taking place, the overall quality level has dropped a bit this week. Even so, there seemed to be enough quality to go around, with at least one true premium LLL, and the Top Picks List features domains like...

Quick, Quick, Quick!

Wow, looks like a dead zone here,

This thread is always dead on non-TBR days. I'm guilty of it myself as I hardly post on other days (but I do check multiple times a day)

Just wanted to thank you AGAIN @DomainRecap for doing what you do

Thanks, and time is just getting tougher and tougher to find - I can't imagine when I'm back out shoveling the driveway at 5:30AM...
