I still don't understand taking "saskimmigrationcanada.ca" first overall, as that's just a really old government site (circa 2014) that was closed and then used for years as a forwarding domain to the primary ".gov.sk.ca/immigration/" site, before (I assume) eventually dropping it.

Hopefully no one looked at Google stats and saw fake traffic numbers attributed to the current Saskatchewan immigration page. There are likely still some really old links still floating around, but not a lot given my Google searches.

Look at some of these bizarro URL stats:

Monthly pages viewed 180,986
Monthly visits 19,230
Value per visitor $0.42
Estimated worth $12,058.3
External links 414

Personally......

I would renew followup for sure.

Booklet and Followup - plurals are a tough sell on .CA even though "Booklets' does work.

Have you done any outbound on Booklet/Booklets for .CA printing companies?

Set them free if you're trimming .ca names. If you don't have many more, booklet may be worth holding on to, but still don't see huge potential in it.

This week's TBR list just might be the worst one I've ever seen.

Wow, still 102 .CA domains taken - that's a bit of the surprise given that the big word-explosion week only amounted to 135.

In the Top 10:

MyID took the top 5 spots, including FEH.CA and KMW.CA, while Pool (2), Burmack (1), Baremetal (1) and 2537244 ONTARIO INC.(1 - whoever they are) got the rest.

Those numbered Ontario ones are usually Siber

They all use numbered companies for their secondary servers, and I have most of them listed, but that one is new. It's at:

34 Eglinton Ave W, Toronto, ON M4R 2H6

If that looks familiar to someone (it's the UPS Store and they're obviously using a PO Box), and it does to me, but I'll have to look it up. I know one Registar uses this address.

oh crap
I forgot to get auth codes from whc.ca for few now expired .ca names.. before they expire

I don't have spectacular stuff there anyway.. or any super .ca names for that matter.. but maybe I would have kept a couple... I just forgot u gotta get codes before expiry in weirdo place like whc.ca

did unlock all names though...

Message them and tell them as per cira rules they have 30 days to allow outbound transfers. If they dont give you auth codes tell them you will file a complaint with cira.
Youโ€™ll get your codes

WHC and Canspace use the identical interface and between the two registrars I had a few thousand domains there. Canspace seems pretty professional but WHC seems very odd to me. When I called in for support it was a single guy answering and very informal, almost like it was done out of someone's basement. Canspace seemed much more professional but they don't have the big sales WHC has.

That said WHC must lose tens of thousands when they have there sales and nobody renews, I know in my case they would have lost a mint.

I basically go to godaddy now, cost me the domain discount club and an extra buck per domain over canspace on the .ca's but on the .com it is cheaper so it's a wash in the end.

If I had to pick I would pick canspace over whc but canspace farms out the .com's and I did not like that and that is one of the reasons I moved to godaddy. WHC, I just get a funny feeling about and I could not wait to move out.

Godaddy has been a blessing when moving a ton of domains around, their beta control panel and the fact that everyone has a godaddy account certainly does come in handy.

Anyone know who owns shopnow.ca, apparently it's registered at namespro so it's probably a domainer that comes here as well?

I am launching a new my 3rd online store and am considering this domain or using my ShopMore domain.

Who likes shopnow and who likes shopmore?

i think most will agree... shopnow is the better choice.. and shopmore is the cheaper choice...
but ...sometimes... cheaper can be better .. meaning the cheaper choice can be good enough for your use/needs... :)

I did a couple of inquiries on that domain a while back but it was radio silence so I have not pursued it since.

I agree shopnow sounds better but sometimes one has to go with what one has in inventory.

I'm thinking of a site similar to what shop.ca used to be so I figured if I used two shopping bags as a logo it might work as ShopMore.

ShopNow would also have worked nicely for me.

I am going to tweak a logo similar to this...
Reason for two bags is obviously the more part :xf.laugh:

I'm not liking the sounds of this. Do I have to sit on a street corner?
