In other news, i changed all 99% of my domains to "make offer" on Sedo to see if that's more effective. BINs have never really worked for me there so hopefully i start seeing more action.

So far, after looking over a few sites I'm bidding on...

77.ca and Mary.ca seem to be in a world all their own, while others like Bacon.ca, Cotton.ca, Swipe.ca, Australia.ca, RPT.ca, etc. are in the top-mid-range in terms of demand.

Some I am surprised are not getting more action include Washington.ca (not only a city but a popular name) and due to business use, both British.ca and Parliament.ca. Also, Davenport.ca is everyone as a biz name, as is Hillview.ca, which seems to be a popular name for anything senior-related (I guess Hill + View = sold).

I'm guessing 77.ca will for first for a couple reasons, but it could easily be another 5-10 names.

I'm guessing 77.ca will for first for a couple reasons, but it could easily be another 5-10 other names.

That's the real key, you never know what will go first, as everyone has a different need and sometimes you have someone bidding like mad to pick up a weird site he/she mistakenly let expire.

Overall, it's pretty random sometimes, but if I were forced to bet I would lay odds on 77.ca first and Mary.ca second, with the Cotton/Bacon/RPT/Australia group being next. There are also some good 2-words that might slide into the top 5.

So over 200 picks again?

As for me, get me the heck out of the oven, as I'm DONE - over 35 domains bid on using multiple registrars and I'm leading on 3... with probably 20+ impending auctions.

it wasnt me either. I'd rather have six other names on this list at $500 each anyways.

This is going to be an expensive week... Should easily blow away last week in total auction sales, I'm glad I didn't chase much last week. I'm probably going to be in at least 30 different auctions. The only hope is that some stuff goes cheap at the beginning with people holding out for the later stuff, or vice versa, people blow their wad early and you get cheaper stuff closing at the end.

With so many domains in one week, I'm curious about the psychology of it all. Would those 30 domains fetch more money if they were auctioned 1 each week for 30 weeks? Or will the feeding frenzy drive up the prices beyond what you'd see if it were an otherwise quiet week with one good domain in it?
