Now I need to know!
Maybe later this week when it's officially in my account. No clues, no nothing, knock on wood.
Did you get my movie references for the other one I grabbed on a whim? Not terribly valuable, but is in some business use, and still pretty cool.
And as usual, the one you don't expect finishes first:
And Fiore.ca went 7th.
And ManitoulinIsland.ca is an interesting one I missed (born in Sudbury and played hockey games there + I think I currently have relatives there), but I didn't get that high on the letter count this week. Too bad, as I could have gifted it to someone.
Nope. lol I probably seen it in the list too.
Come on, Road House + Point Break + Dirty Dancing + Ghost and you still need more hints? Do you own a TV?
Again, not a super-valuable domain, and that one was just a whim based on kid nostalgia.
I haven’t seen those in years. lol Who won the auction? MyId?
Yeah, I saw that one too, didn't chase it though. Patrick would be proud.
Yeah, it's more a collectible domain to me than anything.
I believe that MyID is making a play for sellyourownhome.ca
They won't register the backorder after 4 attempts, waiting for their support system to respond.
It wouldn't surprise me, though few things would when it comes to MyID.
7 attempts now. No response from support. They have accepted other backorders for other names - no problem.
I guess Danny Hunter wants it for himself.
Or a company/investor came to him with a price in return for exclusive first pick rights.
I've heard whispers of that kind of thing happening at TBR registrars.
8th attempt - Success!
No response from support.
Guess who lurks in this thread?
That's actually not a bad strategy. Unethical, yes. Probably effective.
At 17:34 Eastern
"There was a sync issue between MyID and CIRA. This has been fixed and you should be able to backorder the domain now."
Just remember that if you were right, you're also guaranteed of being (cough) "outbid".
Take your pick hopheads:
What happened to Cannabis1?
He must have held on to his *super* premiums
Always asking the hard questions
Sorry nafti... he and Cannabis3 didn't make it.
Well that was depressing, as a lot of the money seems to be going in on Aura.ca and Peridot.ca, with some action on the better LLLs like IAH.ca and KPO.ca.
I'm picking Aura.ca as the first pick.
And we're zzzzzzzz off....
And big surprise, MyID got both Aura.ca and Peridot.ca...
Separate names with a comma.
